Kinship Donations

A lot of people have asked about donating in the past, and i've finally gotten around to investigating the PayPal system, and I *THINK* it's now operational.

I'd be grateful if the first person to try a donation could let me know if the process worked on your end, then I can check my end.
(You can send me a forum PM if you wish to remain anonymous instead of posting a reply)

This is still a process in development, so feel free to ask questions or give feedback below.

----------

For information on the kinships costs, and how you can help by making a donation, please visit:
http://www.rangersoferiador.com/donate

All the information you need should be on the above page.

----------

I'll stress again here though that Kin Members are not expected to make donations as part of being in the kin. It's your choice if you wish to make a donation.

Also, our costs aren't huge, so please don't go overboard with any donations. Even if a few people make a donation of less than a pound each, it will go a long way to covering costs.

----------

I'll try to keep track of any donations being made here (total sums for the month, so completely anonymous) so people can see how we are doing and make a choice whether they wish to make a donation now or leave it for the future.

February 2012
Primary Costs (Hosting, Domain, Teamspeak) - £0.00 / £9.56
Secondary Costs (Minecraft) - £0.00 / £15.97

I know it displays my email (Which is just by gaming/paypal email address, so don't care if it gets more spammed than it always does :P), but it displays name too? Thats a bit naughty of paypal...

Strange how our secondary costs are greater than our primary. I blame maddy for his ott exploration forcing us to upgrade server

Hmm, gonna have to rethink this. Managing donations / donation payments on the back end with paypal is a bitch, and they are taking far too big a share of the pot.
